jp928 Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 A pawl is a locating/locking pin or peg - when you put an auto in park, it is locked by a PAWL pin dropping into some teeth sideways. sandwood Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 yeah, the center trim piece (vents and cubby) pulls pretty much directly out, and then you have to disconnect 2 wiring harnesses to get it completely off.
