I chose Rallitek springs because of the moderate drop. (3/4" in the rear) If you go on Tirerack, there are a couple of strut options. I went with the Koni's and could not be happier. There are also some less expensive options as well. The Koni's are adjustable, and might be a good option for you, however. It takes about 250 lbs. of stuff in the back of my wagon before there is any noticeable drop. Hope this helps.

thanks kc wagon, i take it the rallitek raised it up so it now shits even ?

where did you buy your rallitek?

was there any reason why subaru made it sit low in back? does not make any sense to me .

  Yes, it shits even now.

The rear doesn't sit low, it just looks like it. The rear fender is cut differently than the front.

Good question on the Rallitek springs. I don't see them listed on their website. They were made for Rallitek by Eibach. Another option would be the Epic Engineering springs...

Also made by Eibach. I believe just rebranded and exactly like ones also formerly sold by Eibach which I have on my wagon and am very happy with.

No aftermarket spring is OEM height. All drop the car. The Epic springs lower the car about 3/4 to 1". This is mild for aftermarket. Shims are available.

If you want stock height, get stock springs. Sounds like you probably have a lot of miles on the OEM set up. So it worked for you this long... KYB GR2 are a great OEM alternative at a much lower cost too.

really no one makes a stiffer oem spring? thats just does not make sense...

the car is my work horse , i would like to keep the ride height the same or even up and inch if possible..

something like this would be perfect,

if they only made it for the legacy !

Maybe King springs? They're only made for Outbacks, but if you want some extra height, you can always get Outback-specific shocks/struts and King Springs. I'm not sure what other suspension components you may have to change though...

Click on the 'suspension' button on the left column. Not sure why I can't get a direct link.
