sukaboy Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 How did the trim work out? My driver side trim on my 98 LGT is also flaking off, bit by bit. Was thinking I could replace it, but it looks like painting it is the way to go. Anyways if folks have done it could they post pics? thanks in advance. gergeek Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Just get a putty knife and slowly pry it off...Just replaced my cars door with a base model door. I taped off the metal trim and painted it with black paint and it looks perfectly stock. Just have to fix the clear coat on the now rust free door.
