charlie_sheen
Interesting thread you've got here bmx....I was/still am interested in the bc setup for this spring, but reading some peoples thoughts on how they ride isn't very persuasive anymore. I think the same as you, for 900 you really can't go wrong...but im starting to think if I should wait and save for a nicer set.
YN-TGL
^^ I agree!
01rs25
For those in the middle about buying BC's or a nicer set, keep an eye out in the classifieds. RCE's generally go for about 1200 or so used. Slammed more than your girlfriend.
charlie_sheen
f*ck that...300 more and still used --> LOL. 01rs25...you're ridin dirty, whats your setup? edit: i think ive asked you this before
Nrw
f*ck that...300 more and still used --> LOL. I'd rather a used set of good coilovers than a new set of entry level pieces.
bmx045
Considering rebuilds per unit is ~$100, after 5 years of use, that's not bad.

01rs25
I'd rather a used set of good coilovers than a new set of entry level pieces. Exactly! depends HOW used... Does it really matter? You're getting a quality coilover for the most part that's had a realitively easy life on the street. The majority of the people on this forum aren't out tracking there car every weekend. Considering rebuilds per unit is ~$100, after 5 years of use, that's not bad. And if they do need to be rebuilt, there easy to have that done. Slammed more than your girlfriend. bmx045
And if they do need to be rebuilt, there easy to have that done. I was refering to the BC's.
YN-TGL
That $100 rebuild thing is bs, that's $100 each for just the cartridges, then you have to pull them apart, get a spring compressor, etc... Then good luck trying to get them back to the featured ride height...
bmx045
you don't have a spring compressor?

MatsuDano
just get them. If you don't like them, turn around and sell them. Then get the expensive ones. What can it hurt to try? edit: too late!!!!!! Post up dem pics when you are done with it.
OutbackXT05
Ive been looking into the bc's but the more i read about the harsh ride the less i actually want to get them. Anyone have any expiriences with isc street series coilovers?
bmx045
So install went great today, very easy. Since i have a rallitek rear sway, since my suspension is lower now the bar hits the lca when susp is compressed. Also the rear is too low factory setting from BC. So tomorrow im fixing the bar (adj endlinks) and raising the rear 0.5". Other than that the ride is GREAT. I tried out full Hard setting and wow was it bouncy. Atleast theres 30 someodd clicks of adjustment to soft. I found 15 clicks from hard is perfect for the front. The rear i had to keep stiff to prevent my bar from slamming. Lol. http://img.tapatalk.com/6c3120b4-83c9-a719.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/6c3120b4-83fc-8a5a.jpg
