Stasis Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 Which is driving me insane It's coming from around the rear left strut area, I thought it was where the seat clipped back at first so left it down and sound still continues :/ I've tried shaking the wheel to see if it was loose in any way but nothing. Top of the strut is done up nice and tight. 98 GTB wagon I've recorded the sound here, youtube wouldn't accept the file so chucked it on soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/codex-1/creaking-sound you may have to turn up sound to hear it. See if it has more give then the other side does. You could have bad bushings somewhere. How old are the struts?
