Th3Franz
That's too bad. The new Charger is slow from what I heard. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
BOXRPWR
Man, Hodgeee, you will be missed! Come back and visit us again. Post up your thoughts after breakin of the Hemi. You seem like the kind of guy that will be kicking himself for not waiting a few more months for the super bad-ass SRT-8 version of the Charger. Now that car rocks! Hard to believe you did a straight trade-in. If you're willing to say, guys like me with "heavily" modded cars like your LGT, would like to know if the dealer gave you some $$$ consideration for your investment? And since your factory warranty is toast, do they know not to promote it as holding a transferrable warranty? If you have any way of contacting the person who picks up your LGT, please try to tell them to sign-up on LegacyGT.com and identify themselves.....or at least their sweet Vegas ride! Tronix
I'm sad to see you go. crazy stuff, i bought the legacy so i could fit my family in it (5 of us). So in 3 years youve had an 03 vette/05 legacy and 06 charger? wow man. you must have a money tree because you have to be losing quite a bit in one year depreciation and mods. On the other hand i am glad to see "american" car makers bringing back some muscle, even in lieu of the recent oil prices. They need to step up the bar to compete with all these sweet "japanese" cars coming out. The Charger will look badass with some springs, nice deep dish wheels and maybe a new front grill. I'm sure it will perform well too since you'll be able to chip it, and put a new exhaust and be pushing over 400hp and torque. badass man. -Tronix(best of luck)GT for more pics and info... http://angevine.org/legacy/legacy.html
hodgeee
Well, sorry, left it as is, and sold it for $24500, owed $25000 on it, but since I didn't have to make a car payment for 2 months, I am not bothered. Yeah, lost about $10,000 on it with all the mods, about the same with the Vett! A lot of people would say that I am stupid with my money and cars, and I would have to agree, cause I could have helped a lot of poor people with how much money I have blown on vehicles, but still less than the $30,000 I lost last year in the casinos with my gambling habbits. The good part is that I have a job that has bookoo overtime, and I work 12 hour shifts so a night of overtime a week gives me about an extra $700 per night. I usually work about 16 hours of overtime a week, any more and I get burned out! Yeah, the guy who bought the car called me, cause he got it for his sons graduation gift! I told him be carefull, 18 years old and 360hp is not a good combo! Talk about slow, my Charger with 1500 miles on it just ran a 14.4 at 98mph last night at test and tune! I am taking it to California next month to get a Novi 1500 supercharger kit put on it by GSMotorsports.com They have been getting about 400hp at the tires with the kit, and the trannies at least don't blow up!!!!(Sorry guys) I have been working about 24hours of overtime the last two weeks, and will continue to, until I have enough for the install and dyno tune! So not really missing the Legacy too bad, but it was a fun car! And talk about roomy, I feel like a little guy instead of the 280lb guy that I am in this car, with how much room there is. I got all 1100lbs in the car the last week with no problems, 280lb father, 300lb mother, myself and girlfriend. Yeah, got the eibach springs and swaybars ordered so far, and after the supercharger, just a catback exhaust and I am leaving the thing alone then. So only about $7000 going into this car! Yeah, I know, I never thought that I would have bought a Dodge in my life, but Chrysler is really brave and coming out with some kick ass vehicles lately! I will miss posting with you guys, and I hope I helped a few people with decisions on your cars! This will probably be my last post so take care, and drive hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LegacyTwin
hey if you have the money go for it, i've spent myself over 40K on my cars over the past years, but none so far on my legacy GT. will get out of debt first.
Th3Franz
They have been getting about 400hp at the tires with the kit, and the trannies at least don't blow up!!!!(Sorry guys) It's a Dodge. Are you so sure about their trannies? Maybe the Charger's tranny is better than some of their other vehicles, but I just know from experience that some of their trannies are junk. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

undecidedbuyer
The transmissions of the 300C and its related platforms are a Mercedes design. Is that supposed to be a good thing. Mercedes isn`t exactly known for making quality vehicles, everyone I speak with says that they will never buy one again. Especially the old ML total POS. C-class are downright awfull and spend most of their lifetimes in the service areas. Mercedes survives on people`s perception that they are quality vehicles. Smoke and mirrors. Hodgee 14.4 at 98mph that`s good for such a heavy car. How`s the handling on that thing. I recently sat in a 300 and it made me feel like a midget, then again i`m only 5'8" 145lbs:D
deneb
Hey, what's a 4 door doing being called a charger anyway? On the Car and Driver TV show this weekend they did a peice on the Charger, pretty interesting.
