jabz
I have a JDM 2006 Legacy Spec B in NZ. It came with the cloth seats. I was wondering if I can swap them out for Leather/Alacantra seats. My drivers seat is powered, no heating and no side air bags. I like the look of these STi ones, they don't even have to have the STi emblem or red stitching and I'll be happy. Cant find any on japanparts. http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106967&stc=1&d=1318994173
cholmes1
The photos you have attached are from the AUS Liberty Tuned By STI model. You will only be able to get those seats in OZ and you will have a REALLY hard time finding them...Most who have the tbSTI do not swap seats. You may have better luck finding a spec.B in a salvage yard if you have them...the only difference between those and the spec.B is the color of the alcantara in the center portion, the red stitching on the outer seams, and the STI emblem. Good luck and keep us updated with your swap. EDIT: Just saw your car has power nothing. Your swap may be a little bit more challenging if you are trying to stay in the Subaru family and get leather and alcantara. Those fabrics only come on cars with power seats that have an airbag and are typically heated.

jabz
I am now thinking of getting the seats reupholstered in leather by this place, their gallery shows a few redone Legacy's. http://www.rve.co.nz/login/carImg/DSCN00655_675004a525e3b76c36.JPG
cholmes1
That would probably be much easier for you and when they have the fabric off you can add or subtract bolstering to get the fit you want before they put on the new skin. Good luck with your project
