  1. Has anyone installed front component speakers over the door skins? I ask because I have the Infinity Perfect 600 components, and the 6.5" woofers are quite deep, even with spacers they may pose a problem with depth. Might have to install over the door skin. The tweeters I will be able to mount inside, but not the woofers I think. I'd like to see any examples of what others have done?
  2. Just an update here.. Turns out the Parking sensor wire wasn't properly grounded, connected properly its working fine. Setup my SWC using the Kenwood pinout on their page, so it's accurate for JDM Subaru's
  3. Hi was wondering if someone could help with my SWC, or if maybe SVXdc may know, I have installed a Kenwood DDX9016DABS their newest Carplay units into my JDM 2006 Legacy. I am trying to get the SWC working however haven't had much luck. Apparently the new Kenwoods have a direct interface into the OEM SWC so no need to buy an adapater. Instructions are here, this shows the pinouts for most JDM vehicles according to Kenwood. My vehicle has a 8Pin connector which I assume is the SWC, as it was plugged into the factory Kenwood GX-204JE, and after I used it on the Caska CA3606, where the SWC worked fine. I tried wiring up the Kenwood supplied steering remote cable, to the 2 Pins on my SWC 8pin plug, as shown on the above site/page. The Green, Purple, Gray are the wires on the supplied steering remote cable. Then powered on the Kenwood, and go into settings the "Steering Remote Controller" option is greyed out, I am assuming it hasn't detected my SWC and the wiring is incorrect. Here is the 8PIN plug and 14PIN radio harness in my Legacy.
  4. I managed to install it today, didn't take too long, only an extra 30mins due to LHD vs RHD differences. i.e. the air by-pass valve is still on the left in the engine bay, so have to route tubing from right to left. I have a 6 speed manual so used johns method through the wheel well. Most of the extra time was taken up thinking about what to do with the flex cable since my vent is opposite to the instructions.. I ended up having the flex cable exit out of the same side and then across the top and down past the vent control bar. 6. I have them in my JDM 2006 here in NZ, the lights are blue. I'll take a pic
  7. Lossol I didn't see a temp probe on the site else I would've ordered that too
  8. Thanks ordered I noted that on johnAWD install he used larger tubing from the engine bay to the drivers Wheel well where he then used a reducer to connect the nylon tubing through to the cabin. Is this what everyone is doing with the GTboost Gauge, or are you taking the nylon tubing right into the engine bay?
  9. Hey Lossol, I am trying to order the RHD GTbootgaage and accessories from your online store however it won't let me, says we not shipping to your region at this time. I am in New Zealand, we are next to Australia Sent you email about it. Has anyone installed the RHD model in a 2006 JDM Legacy Spec B?
  10. Hey Lossol, just checking in again, how far off are the 1.5 RHD versions?
  11. Sounds awesome, I'll wait for a 1.05 hardware. Unless do you need beta testers for RHD? I am in New Zealand.
  12. Hey lossol this is awesome, I was gonna buy a RHD one from your store as you only have 1 left. However I see you are creating a 1.5 version. Is this just the software? If I purchase the 1.4 RHD one from your site can I upgrade it to 1.5?

Has anyone used this CarPC enclosure? It's basically a custom all in one. http://store.mp3car.com/New_Black_Double_Din_Nano_ITX_Carputer_Enclosure_S_p/enc-041b.htm I have a JDM 2006 Legacy GT spec B here in NZ. I am wondering will this fit into the original Double DIN factory position once I purchase the AV panel set from http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?products_id=123
