toomanytoyz
I've been searching this past week to try and sort out what I want to run for springs and shocks in my 05 lgt wagon. I have come across a bunch of threads that have guys running 04 rear shocks but I've yet to see an explaination as to why. Are they stiffer? Do they bolt in place without modification? What's the benefit? I think I am going with the Tein H's with a 1" sbs in back and kyb gr2's all around. Maybe the agx's in the back for cargo adjustability. I'm looking for firmer with stockish ride height. TIA!
toomanytoyz
Bump? Is the answer that commonplace that the question doesn't warrant a response? I'm sorry if it is, but I really don't know the reason. Thanks.

toomanytoyz
I don't know. I wasn't paying attention to the dates in the archives. But I did see it mentioned about a half dozen times.
BAC5.2
It might have been done before KYB made replacement rear shocks for the 05-09? I can't find a definitive answer as to whether or not the 05-09 top hats are the same as the previous ones. toomanytoyz
Ok. Good enough for me. If it's not commonplace, or even suggested, then I will forget all about it and worry about other things. Thanks!
Mega Users seabass07 Posted October 12, 2011 Mega Users Share Posted October 12, 2011 It's common on outbacks, but I haven't heard of it on LGTs. The 00-04 rear shocks are much stiffer on the 00-04 outbacks and are interchangeable except for about a .5" lift.
