Brady Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I'm trying to think of what this guy TRULY innovated. I'm guessing a GUI interface on a home PC would be about it. Even at that, people forget that Xerox had a working example prior to the Macintosh. The Personal Computer existed long before Apple. The Walkman, Discman, MiniDisc, and many other small personal music players existed long before the iPod. Smartphones existed long before the iPhone. Touch screen phones existed long before the iPhone. Tablets existed long before the iPad. All he ever really did was take existing ideas and make them aesthetically pleasing. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone and my iPod. But I'm not exactly lining up to suck Steve Jobs' embalmed dick just because he hooked up with a great marketing group.
