IRNChip
Here's the fix to a problem I just had on my 2005 Legacy GT wagon (5MT): The seat belt chime kept going off even though I was belted. The airbag light was on. The power door locks didn't work. Under each front seat is a wire bundle with a plastic end that doesn't plug into anything. Apparently it is for a tire pressure monitor set-up that my car doesn't have. The one under my car's passenger seat corroded due to lots of water (I suspect the window was left down overnight by the person who borrowed the car). The corrosion caused a short. Removing the corroded bit and wrapping the wire ends separately solved the problem. We spent several hours chasing it down. Hopefully you find this thread if you have the same problem.
