ha-evolution Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Today I saw a white Legacy sedan at the local subie dealership. Definately my favorite color now. It looks perfect in white.
Th3Franz Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 I agree white does look good, along with the rest of the colors. :D I still love my red, but the white looked pretty slick in person too. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
whitepdxgtwgn Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 at Wentworth Subaru in Portland. Is that the one you've seen? It has the 35% tinted windows all the way around.
coolbluelb Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 I think white will be my favorite color. Unfortunately, I have not been able to see it in person.
racerdave Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 The pearl white is nice. My wife likes it, and I could live with it to, as I've had a white car before and it was pretty easy to deal with from a cleanliness perspective. Much better than black.

axis008 Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Will be getting a white as well but I have not seen it in person. -ben
ha-evolution Posted July 1, 2004 Author Posted July 1, 2004 I always thought it looked good in white in pics but it looks far better in person.
coolbluelb Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Plus, don't forget all white Legacy's get the JDM bumper...
Dr. Zevil Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004
Plus, don't forget all white Legacy's get the JDM bumper...
That was good! If I was going to get a sedan, i would have considered white as one of the front runner. I don't like the color as much on the wagon for some reason.
squirrel-bait Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 I agree that white doesn't look quite right on the wagons. Maybe it reminds me too much of my sister's old right-hand drive mail carrier Legacy. sqrl b8
coolbluelb Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 I think white on a wagon makes it look bigger than it really is. Maybe this is why you don't like it. If I were interested in the wagon (I am not) I would definately go for the RB or Blk. I have to say though, I think I like all colors available on the car except the red (I say this not having seen the red in person, but having a personal bias against red cars). I was overly impressed with the AB in person.
dimil Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 White on sedan is avesome and was my second choise, But RBP won. When I took delivery of RBP with taupee, I knew I made a right on the money.
Xenonk Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 the only thing that bothers me in white is the center piece pedastal in the lower grille of the front bumper of the Legacy. If it wasnt there, I would get myself a white one. Keefe
Throttlejockey Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I was going to get white but changed my mind when I saw the silver.
Xee Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I think I heard from a friend that white is the "thinnest color" thereby being the most susceptible to rust. Is there any truth to this?
SUBE555 Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I wouldn't say susceptible to rust, the areas that have the highest chance of chipping are plastics and aluminum. No rusting there. :P I doubt it's really much if any thinner than other colors. BTW, the white is really sharp!
bblacha Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 careful getting white without seeing it first. It is very unlike typical Subie white, more goldish off-white. I've seen similar on Caddys and Lexi. It sparkles and is beautiful in sunlight - like white desert sand 8)
thatericguy Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 i ordered a white leg gt limited....hopefully ill be happy with it otherwise its AB.. seems like most dealerships are getting AB and RB color schemes. I havent seen a white GT sedan or wagon at any dealership.
crapy Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 i will be getting either black or white.... so, both are nice colors :D
il collaudatore Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 I'm considering white or red- all my cars have been black. Black is sexy, but it really brings out the paint chips and other imperfections that come with driving it for years.
