Stang70Fastback
Well, while fixing the damage from that run-in with a crazy, road-raging nut-job, I had my mechanic repaint the hood while he was at it, since it was flaking like crazy. He decided to add a little surprise flair without telling me, and I kind of like it, lol: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6171/6133094131_28473d421c_b.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6063/6133097987_435e702fd8_b.jpg It's spray-on bedliner. That photo was taken before I washed the car, so it has some crap and stuff on it, but that stuff actually does look pretty good.

TbirdMan
this is what i did to my spare, the white doesn't quite match my paint and i hat to take the pin striping off cause it was not straight, once i get a can of matching paint and more striping i am gonna get it installed. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d138/TbirdMan2/0323110006a.jpg

TbirdMan
yeah, just used alot of sanding and priming to get it smooth (the paint was cracked) and used spray cans from the auto parts store, i am gonna have to order a can of Glacier White to match my car however, duplicolor doesn't make it anymore. I may also use some calking to fill the gap between the hood and scoop a bit.
Stang70Fastback
It looks better in person. I just realized the photos make it look more like a piece of body work that has been primed but not painted yet or something, lol. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6169/6133269493_bf56b59640_z.jpg

TbirdMan
yeah, not cheap at $25 a can, but besides going to a local body shop and having them mix some up, it is pretty much the only way.
