That may be the one that CT08Spec.B bought. It looks like a nice piece. If you think about what could happen to it, for that little money its worth it. If something happens to it, just buy another one.

I don't think he's installed it yet...someone named Irene paid a visit to the area over the weekend.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

I think he bought the 06 sti one that alot of people buy, the PE one. I think this "ez" one is just like a DIY garage material type lip

It is. My buddy bought that and its the same lip I made for $10 from Lowes. My homemade lip has lasted 6 months with no issue other than other people can see it slightly flap at high speeds. Its expendable. $10 is easy to swallow if it ever gets ruined. It offers no areodynamic function though. Just cosmetic.

I took him on the offer of a free EZ-LIP in exchange for some install pics. He did come through and sent it through USPS Priority Mail. I got it rather quickly in 3 days. The material itself is soft rubber. Although i havent seen it myself, I would imagine it's very similar to the materials used in the homedepot garage door mod. The double sided tape that was included with the lip seems to be the 1" wide 3m industrial molding tape so he didn't go cheap there. Overall, I am happy with what I got. This will be temporary look for me until I save up for the ravspec one. It does look better in person than the pictures suggests. I did install it closer to the inside of the bumper for a more subtle look. and YES I know I need to respray my grille. Damn rock chips!

I went to Lowes and spent $9.00 on garage door seal, used some 3M double sided tape to adhere to bumper(already had some laying around),added some screws(also already had;poke threw the seal first to avoid binding),and cut length to bumber sides. Looks just like that $30.00 lip and cost a 1/3 of the price. I've had it on the car for 6 months now and is still holding up. Although,I am planning on buying the 06-07 WRX S204 lip and modifying it to fit when this lip get destroyed.
