lee07
My car is making slow ticking noise's when I turn and brake together like pulling into the garage. It doesn't make any noise when I turn but once I apply the brake's and turn it make's slow ticking noise's. It makes noise turning both ways. No noise when driving straight and braking. No ticking when just turning without braking. Only when turning and applying the brakes with it tick slowly. Not sure what it is. Maybe pad but it's got pad left and on tight. Backing plate is not touching but is quite close to the rotor. What do you think?
Max Capacity
Drive faster...lol My first thought is a CV joint. lee07
It was only when turning left but today I heard it when turning right also. It only makes noise when going slow like 2 mph. The front right axle was recently replaced.

lee07
Turn's out to be an old rusted inside shim. It was stuck on the pistons when I lifted up the caliper. I removed it and now no more noise when slowly braking while turning. I Knew it had to be brake related.
