I want something that will add some power, with a nice purr. nothing too loud, im not trying to be a cop attraction. Max Capacity Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 You have a 05, you'll want a catless up pipe and a down pipe. I have kept the stock exhaust from there back. The car has a nice rumble to it. You can hear the turbo spool better with a big Dp. You'll need to get the ecu retuned for the new pipes. That's where the power comes from. If you want a different sound you can buy the exhaust later. But I'm happy with my set up running a stage 2 tune. You may also need a 2.2k ohm resistor if you don't have the egt sensor. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
