SubiSpeed86
As some of you have read I have been working on my stage2 05 OB XT. Here is the finished results of my headlight/grille blackout. I took pics of the whole process and will make a DIY thread if there is enough interest. Also yes you are seeing the garnet red paint in the headlight it was kinda a pain to hand brush it on but it was soo worth it. I also am willing to offer this service through our car dealership if anyone wants it done to theirs as well. *UPDATE* Check out my fb album for new pics with the blacked out rims and catless downpipe vids:) https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2073077023741.2111643.1149363428&type=1&l=08e5be4dea Downpipe videos...https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=2090575541193 https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=2090634902677

SurlyOldManMN
Hmmm... I assumed plasti dip would be questionable for headlights due to the heat. Curious to see how this works out.
SubiSpeed86
Love the red on the inside! Thanks!!! I'm gonna do another shot looking right at the lens so you can see it on the "claws". Kinda was a pita to do but it was def worth it Hmmm... I assumed plasti dip would be questionable for headlights due to the heat. Curious to see how this works out. It handled being in the oven at 250 for 15 min to reseal it. It should be fine I did a lot of research and haven't found anyone who had a problem after they did it (non-subie's too). easton
Looks great. Now get rid of the bug guard and put some clear bra up on there! Make sure to get it detailed first to knock off any oxidation that may have occurred.

SubiSpeed86
Yes lots:) Have to quit being so lazy and post em up here lol. Right now I plasti-dipped the rims and hand painted red accents on them. We put a Perrin divorced wastegate catless downpipe and midpipe off a 02 bug eye as well as the aem intake off the same bug eye. I'm in the process now of running a mono block and 4 channel amp on 2 12's and the factory speakers but have been running into ground loop problems. Also got some red tint and tinted the taillights to get rid of that yellow crap.
