WileyKyle
After the original turbo died I had a mechanic clean out the engine and put on a rebuilt stock turbo from A1 Turbo in LA. The car has run fine for 200 miles now, except that it is making this screaming noise when the turbo spools. Please give the video a listen. frank_ster
badddddd it might be a hose or some thing loose making the sound .. ( do you have a scarcastic mechanic ? did he by any chance put a duck call in your bov ? frank_ster
i don't think its the turbo it self because the sound goes away as soon as you let off the throttle and the bov opens. check intercooler and the hose going to the throttle body. see if you can get some one to rev it as you listen under the hood. Max Capacity
You can take a pint paint can and stick it in the air inlet hose off the air cleaner box, then pull the small hose form the BOV and give it a short blast of air and listen for leaks. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
