BAC5.2
Yea, let's try to coordinate something. I love silver wheels, so what you have is what I'd get. Sublimejoe
Are you familiar with Taylor Gourmet? I make my way out to their Bethesda location every now and again, I think that is pretty close to Rockville, right?
BAC5.2
I just re-measured my ride height to compare. It looks like it's 13.75" in the rear, and 14.5" in the front. The back of my car looks much lower than yours, but the front looks about the same, so it kind of makes sense. I'm going to machine a spacer, to bring the rear up a little bit more. I like where the front is, I just want the rear up another 1/2"-3/4". Sublimejoe
I am going to get my fenders rolled at Mach V hopefully this Saturday. Hopefully that takes care of my problem!
BAC5.2
So what was the offset again? Any rubbing up front? Sublimejoe
Offset is +39 and no rubbing in front. Rotiform makes the wheels in either +35 or +45 so if you want anything different you have to have them custom machined. +39 is literally perfect except for the slight rubbing in the rear, which only happens about 10% of the time. BAC5.2
And they are 18x8's? I'm so torn on these, and S4 replicas. I love the way the S4 wheels look, but these look BA. Decisions, decisions. The S4's are +35, and definitely clear Brembos. BAC5.2
It's a tough choice. They are 18x8 +35's. Which puts them ~10mm further away from the strut, and 2mm further in from the lip than yours. I think they'll fit just fine with the same tire you are running. Decisions, decisions. BAC5.2
Are they priced about the same? No, the ones I posted are much less. Around $600 for the set. But, they aren't as high quality I'm sure. Scooby2.5
I am about to haha. I am so anxious to see how they look. The tires could definitely stand to be 40 instead of 45 but I think it looks pretty solid still. Joe ignore my post in your roof rack for sale thread, as I found this one. Here is what I am doing to mine and it looks like the 40 offset will work.... I think yours is 39 I am going with the 45 series tire as well I also have the BC/BR coils so that should help with room on inside but may not have any issues with the spacer http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f72/how-fit-5x114-3-2011-sti-wheels-your-5x100-forester-dont-try-home-110581/ I am not as low as you if you have seen my car so I should be OK http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/2005-stage-3-outback-xt-sti-seats-150039.html
