IDRVSLO
Well here is a quick picture review of the transformation that my lights have been through. Sorry about the quality of pictures and different locations, I could not dig up light output shots for the second stage. I will be adding Luminics yellow bulbs for the high beams.....for fun.....and because I like yellow. STILL ALIGNING LIGHTS 1 Stock lights 2 TSX-R lenses, Diode Dynamics 6000k HID kit 3 The Retrofit Source Bi-Xenon kit, Morimoto 5000k bulbs and 35W Ballasts 4 Same as above but with high beams on! http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/5927/img3298r.jpg http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/3601/img3300ir.jpg http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/5617/img20110807211228.jpg http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/699/img20110807211237.jpg [
laz
I was driving next to an Acura TSX the other day in a dark expressway. It was amazing to see how wide the pattern was. Three lanes, he was on the fast lane and it was still lighting up all the way into the right shoulder and beyond. I have regular HID's (no retrofit) and it was 3/4 the width of the TSX. There was also a Lexus LS460 that rolled by and the light output of that car was good too, but not as wide as that TSX. X ---

ouch1011
Are you running the complete tsx projector or just the lenses?
IDRVSLO
I am not running the TSX-R lens anymore after switching to the Bi-Xenon kit. The second picture is just a TSX-R lens swap, not the full projector. [
ehsnils
A little hard to compare since you never used the same wall and distance.
IDRVSLO
Actually I used the same wall and distance on the first and third shot....just zoomed in. I really had no intentions of making this a true comparison thread. Just thought it was interesting to see the difference so I thought I would post it up. The fact is that you can still see a difference and can see the improvement over time.....it is just not cut and dry. You are right though it would have been nice to have done it all on the same wall, same distance.....etc. [
