Nightpath
Howdy all, Some cockduster slashed my tires last night. I have a spare set of P205 70R15 in the garage. I need to know if I should spend a week or 2 hitching to work or will these tires fit on until I can get new ones. I've been looking for the answer, even called Subaru but they told me they can only advise the stock size. Car is a 96 Legacy GT 2.5 Thanks
Mr. Sinister
Aren't the GT wheels for that year 16"?

Mr. Sinister
Have you used a tire size calculator before? http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Punch in the stock size and the onese you have to see what the difference is. If the difference is small, then it should fit.
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted August 5, 2011 I Donated Share Posted August 5, 2011 No, the GT wheels for that year are 16 inch....same offset as the WRX wheels. As its been said in the other thread you posted about this in the second gen forum, you can run any Subaru 16" wheel with 205/55/16 tires. The tire you're wanting to use is only 1.4 inches bigger in diameter then stock 16 inch Subaru wheels (that were an option on your chassis). Like I said before, I'm sure you will be fine. No need to post multiple threads about it. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
