blackontan
I have family in Canada and travel there often; so I can look for a 5mt wagon there too. The car is the same, just the cluster is in metric (KpH); and there may be a spare hockey stick in the back. Question is this: Would you guys care about buying a used car from Canada? BradyCat
Not sure why you'd want to, everything costs more up here - vehicles probably cost at least 10-15% more plus the Canadian dollar is currently a little higher than the US's. No other reason why not, just the cost. DRL's have been standard here for many years, and the English/French labels, don't forget that. Not sure if American importation rules require you to modify the vehicle to US specs (swap gauge cluster etc..) 2013 Ford Taurus SHO 2009 Spec.B SWP Stg 2+ Airboy tuned 2010 Toyota Sequoia Platinum 5.
blackontan
two reasons to look in Canada: 1. The 5MT LGT wagon was sold in Canada from 05 to 07 or 08 2. Most cars built since 1998 are listed as "identical models" for importation The exchange rate is currently about $1000CDN for every $1050US or aprox. 5% of the total. Duties are 2.5% N American guage clusters have been dual read for decades... they just reverse which numbers are bigger I guess I'm asking if this is a psychological issue for people for a resale. I don't plan on owning the car forever.
katalyst
it probably would be US cars imported into canada have lower resale value like it's spooked but to get the vehicle of your preference (ie. 08 wagon) it might be worth it in the long run
