Front and rear O2 sensor's

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to use a rear O2 in the front ?

I have a P0134 code in my 05GT Wagon, Bank 1 of 1

I bought a OEM rear sensor and replaced it, I didn't realize there was a front sensor too. I'm still getting the P0134 after the engine runs for about 2 minutes.

OK thanks.

Any body need a rear O2 sensor. I now have 3. The new OEM in the car, the new after market rear back in it's box, and the original rear O2 sensor.

Any body else ever feel like an idiot...

Beware of using that site for ordering the o2 sensor. They don't list part numbers with the product description and when I ordered the front sensor, they sent me the rear one. I called after getting the rear one and told them the p/n of the one I needed and they sent it, even adjusted the price to match the rear sensor's price.

yea i already tryed that .. it works on a slightly diffrent principal. the front works on currant and the rear on 0-1 volt .49 being stoic

Now that's thinking out of the boxer!

So, do you think I can use a aftermarket front sensor for like $50.00 or should I order the OEM for $120.+

Well I see no one wanted to touch this...

I checked Advance Auto Parts, they could get one here by the 8th for like $90.00. Or they had one for $369.00 that could get here sooner.

I called Auto Parts International today, he said they didn't have one, and someone called yesterday from Advance looking for one. I told that was for me.

I just called a local place Corky's auto parts, for $120.00 they'll have for me at noon today.

I did pull the old one last night. It came out very easy, I was freaking amazed...

It was a direct fit. I think it was bosch p/n 15011, I didn't look to closely, I have the box and can check later if you care.

I'm not a big fan of having to connect wires to something universal. Plug and play, 10 minutes and I'm on my way.

Drove the car down to my buddies machine shop, I walked on and said, "see it drives" one of the guy's looks out and say's, "it's dirty", I get no respect...
