This increases torque and power in the EZ3.0 engine

A monkey with a wrench can bolt it on: http://www.raptorsc.com.au/kits.php?id=58

Making about 320hp on the engine with no intercooler

I might consider this if I can find a used version of it. I don't intend to buy it off the shelves for $6k. For that money, I would rather get a used BMW 335i instead.

A used 335i for $6k, I am in on that one too :D

But since I can't get a big buck car like that BMW I reckon giving a quality Subaru a bit more poke is a fine idea :D

I am doing mine in next few weeks - should be interesting

$6k + suspension mods that need to match the power + the labor + the car itself = BMW 335xi

Not to mention BMW has more luxuries than a legacy.

even compared to my ll bean H6?

honestly, I don't care... I love my ll beaner, and will take the time to repair the HG....

OK this doesnt do it right across the rev range but you can see the difference of a few psi of unintercooled boost (7psi) vs NA

First one is tuned with headers and full K2 exhaust system

Second one is with a low boost SC and no intercooler in hot conditions and incomplete tune

The torqe at 4000 rpm is more or less the same in both cases, torque at 7000rpm is vastly different with the SC providing an ever increasing torque curve, mated with the close ratio manual trans found in Australia H6 the cars go like stink. An intercooled and a finalised low rpm tune will do nicely for the H6 :D

NA is 280 and SC is 250 @ 3000rpm

NA is 300 and SC is 285 @ 4000rpm

NA is 300 and SC is 300 @ 5000rpm

NA is 270 and SC is 320 @ 6000rpm

NA is 225 (based on line angle) and SC is 315 @ 7000rpm

Good read here on power upgrades to a B9 Tribeca 06 3.0L via COBB...Supercharged to 320hp and 270 lb-ft torque

With that kind of power upgrade, you'll likely want to talk to Climber D about transmission upgrades as well.
