Bubbamclean
Anybody know what type of differential fluid I should use in my 1991 legacy wagon (manual shift)? Is this also the same fluid I should use for my front differential/transmission fluid? Mahalo
poonhandler
Should be 80w90 in the rear 4.2 to 4.9pnts and I if I remember right its 80w90 or 75w90 for the manual. I work at valvoline and I run our high performance 80w90 in the rear and I can't remember what I chosse for the manual. I'll get back to you with exact fluid apps by tmw

Legacy Wagon
I ran Amsoil 75w-90 for the rear diff in my Auto. I dont know if they'd be any different. I guess it's all preference.
poonhandler
Ok thisis from the valvoline check chart... sorry I said the same thing twice 1.7 pnts 80w90 or you can also use 75w90 for the rear diff. 3.7qts 80w90 for the manual. The different viscositys are just basically for temp ratings. I run 80w90 in both
