Paddym Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Hi i have a 1994 bg5 wagon. Manual non turbo. When i go to start my car you can hear the starter whizzing round but it is not engaging with the flywheel. Sometimes it works perfectly for 2 days straight then just stops again. I have replaced the starter motor 3 times and had the one that is on there at the moment tested and it is 100% ok. I have checked the teeth on the flywheel and they are fine. I have no idea what is wrong and cant find a mechanic with any ideas. I am sick of push starting my car everywhere i go. Any suggestions?
