David E
1999 Legacy Outback wagon. Drivers side window is operating intermitantly and I think it is the switch. Sometimes when I start the car there is a short buzzing noise coming from the left side under the dash. Also, when the window is down it sometimes makes little jerks up, like it is trying to go up on it's own. Before I go tearing anything apart thought I'd see if anyone else has had the same experience. Thanks.

David E
Thought I'd update on this. The window problem was caused by my alternator starting to go bad...When my alternator died last week I grabbed my son, pulled the alternator and took it to AutoZone. They tested it and it was bad. Son and I installed a rebuilt one and a couple of days later noticed my window problem was gone, with no reoccurence. I've had a couple of pretty good mechanics tell me "modern" cars are exceptionally sensitive to voltage. Probably one reason the grounding mod seems to help so much. Guess that will be next on my list of things to do.
