LABL
I hear the same annoying noise in my car. It is some relay or solenoid which I have been unable to identify yet. Sometimes it can click several times in a few seconds. I am trying to narrow the exact location of the offending relay before I take the car to the dealer. But it is difficult as I have to drive for the noise to happen. I have ruled the AC as it makes the noise even with the AC off. Doesn't click if the car is not moving. Can click many times if taking a turn, specially if on an irregular road.Sometimes can make it click when shifting gears.Sometimes can make it click by going from accelerating to coasting (and the opposite)
autoinsider
Has anyone definitely identified the problem or come up with a solution for this clicking sound? It is driving be crazy.
SBT
When I turn-on my defroster, the clicking stops. When I turn it (the defroster) off and set it to face/floor or any other mode, the clicking does not return. And, it (the clicking) only restarts again, after I turn the system OFF and then back ON again. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
Adoniram
SBT, sounds like it's your actuator. I thought mine was the cause also, but it isn't. It really is the relay in the box I mentioned earlier in the thread autoinsider, this might help you too: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4322333&postcount=
