Dezerttj's 2000 BE

Recommended Posts

Bought this Legacy in May for my DD. I'm big into rock crawling with jeeps, so this'll just be a clean looking car. Nothing to major. Here it is!

nice looking car. My first car (and first Subie) was a 2002 GT, so same body style. I'll always have a soft spot for the 3rd gens even though I'm rocking a 2006 now, which I absolutely love

Thanks, Took it out to Grand falls, AZ 2 days ago. I can say I crossed the little Colorado river in a legacy haha. The whole thing was dead dry

Man I love those 1st gen. 4Runners. My Dad used to have an 86. Underpowered 4 cylinder, 5 speed, oversized tires on aftermarket rims, front brush guard with fogs, gauge cluster on the dash with the altimeter and whatever else it had. God I miss that thing! Would have likely been my first car had he not sold it when it blew the head gasket. I'd love to get my hands on one today

I wish those Leggies weren't so high rpm engines :(. Fifth gear is basically a highway gear, so why didn't they make the gears a little longer or at least 6 gears? I wonder what rpm does an sti would have at 70 on 6th gear? And if it is lower than 3000rpm, then what? We need to spend so much money to get an sti just to have a more economical car? If so, that's BS.
