  1. Oh man isn't this gorgeous! So do the headlight washers work as well?
  2. Oh that was you?? Man, you may not remember me but I was excited like a little kid after seeing your car . I may go to NH to visit a friend there this winter. If it isn't an issue I would love to stop by and check your car after its all done with the swap:p.
  3. 08Legacy08 I am so jelly you did this! I was hoping in the near future I will be the first one to have a "USDM s402" from the inside and out. Oh well, I am happy for you man! Once I get a 08-09 LGT-L I am still gonna do the s402 in/out swap. I met someone at WBM with a black GT-L and he showed me his JDM interior with the black plastics and the LED lit cup holders. Do you have this swap too or have you considered it? I loved the look of that interior so much more than the USDM one. Also, If you look at the USDM bumper it makes the car look as if its smiling at you and its bugging me so much lol. Can you PM me approx prices and sources of the parts you changed so far? It will be really helpful to me to know reliable JDM parts shops. Thanks man and good luck!
  4. nah not at all. Wet sand them with a 1000, 2000, and a 3000 grit sandpaper and 4 clear coats with a 2000 grit wet sanding in between the coats and then buff out and wax and you will be all set.
  5. Man! Someone needs a headlight buff out:eek:
  6. Makes me seriously consider blacking out the headlights. How are the blinkers output at day/night with the stock bulbs?
  7. I meant these http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/attachments/sale-wanted/135242d1307586542-2002-03-e39-60k-miles-wanted-now-1.jpg
  8. I like e39 but the 2003 model with the clear tails and the projector headlights with angel eyes
  9. wolflegacy, that looks sweet. all it needs is JDM heads and tails
  10. Shweeet! BTW since your garage is not a professional repaint place, how do you manage to keep away the dust from the fresh paint?
  11. OMG sorry to lie to you guys! The car is NOT debadged. I was playing with photoshop and saved the picture. I guess I did not see which one I uploaded lol
  12. Now thats a pretty leggy! It really makes absolutely no sense why the **** they kept the nicer legacy for them and gave us the boring look and slow engine.... selfish ppl And thanks Flyboy888. I used a single, medium sized (not sure) truck flap and cut it in 4 pieces. NiteShades for the tints and clearcoat.
  13. I have been on legacygt.com for months but I think my car finally looks acceptable to be shown on this thread. Also, you can see the DIY mudflaps and tintend tails:). I also finally started getting daily compliments about Grumpy which feels good . http://www.picvalley.net/u/1842/119299804811137404741317010290IpbtarRDjeVFX00weXHk.JPG http://www.picvalley.net/u/2005/163666846956653756113170102390kv1bdMJqO1M412ou4Ns.JPG http://www.picvalley.net/u/2030/14274884414726548501317009664oKFXDxZSR5RmHXJ0pXtS.JPG http://www.picvalley.net/u/1862/118871760018422861641317009701tNaHJR6F5aXq77HTdsrB.JPG
  14. cgroh89 did u put a sealant or wax on them after polishing? Sealant is very important because your headlights are not protected to UV and weather and will get hazy soon again.
  15. good looking wheels man! now we will look ecen more alike when we meet again what size were these?
  16. I second that ! And with the wheels from LegacyRN car would look sexy . Conrad, congratulations on the 200 000 miles!
  17. Yeah I guess I can do that thanks for the invitation man. 3 hours seems a good time but so what I'll drive it lol
  18. Hey that was a fun day !! The kit is Meguiars http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+G1900 I highly reccomend using a sealant regularly to keep them clean and protected. Otherwise they will get oxidized again more quickly. Mine lasted a few months before I fucked them up while baking/hot air blowing them to remove the yellow corners. Speaking of which.... Do not hot air blow them if you want to open them. Only bake them cuz it's very easy to destroy the plastic housing.
  19. Dude, how did u solve the problem with the gaps left from the cutouts? I even posted a new thread but no one helped me. I actually wanna cut the whole middle part with the badge but those gaps where the pieces were are just uglyyyy
  20. uhm for some reason only a few days after sanding/polishing/sealing the headlights on my LGT, the haziness started to come back. I thought the nice clear look should last at least a month or two, specially after protecting them with a sealant. I dont want to post a new post so that's why I am spamming here. hopefully someone can help me faster this time:(
  21. wow that sounds like a better deal definitely !
