Highvoltage0720
I just put in a new engine into my 05 2.5i Legacy. After all was done I realized that at idle the engine shakes the entire car badly, all the way to the end of the exhaust. I'm also getting CEL codes P0301, P0304, and P0000. And it also smells like it's running rich and I've been getting horrible gas mileage compared to the old motor. Can someone please tell me what's wrong, and what I can do to fix all of this. Thanks in advance.
GEE-OTTO
If it smells like its running rich youre not getting good spark. I would check the plugs and coil. did you reuse the exhaust? How are the cats?
Highvoltage0720
The plugs and coils all seem to be fine. Yes I use reused the exhaust. The cats seemed to be fine when the old motor was in so I don't see why that would change.

Check the wires as well and the throttle sensor
Highvoltage0720
It seems the coil pack was bad and one of the plugs weren't all the way on. Fixed all of that and now she's running like new. Thanks for the help GEE-OTTO.
