Kevin73
I have all I need to go stage 2 was looking for input from those that have wrapped your down pipe and those that didnt wrap. My down pipe is catted have read conflicting ideas about wrapping or coating a catted down pipe. My main concern is the heat off the down pipe affecting any hoses, wires or any other rubber parts near the pipe. Thanks in advance.

Legend
Stage 2 I don't think it would matter. For simplicity, don't bother. Stage 3 on E85 here and I've never bothered. My '05 LGT My '07 Supercharged Shelby
bettner12
I would go with a coating over a wrap every day of the week. If you already have a DP talk to ryan moore, i know he has a place to get them coated, and if you don't, talk to ryan moore.
ouch1011
I don't see the harm in wrapping a cat. Most all factory or even aftermarket cats come with heat shields installed on them, and that has pretty much the same effect as a wrap. But personally I would do one or the other. Wrap it or coat it. Bare metal exhaust under the hood raises under hood temps considerably.
