Legacy Wagon
You checked all the fuses on the inside panel under the dash?

Legacy Wagon
The speed sensor may be shot? You could try pulling a junk one. They'd probably sell it to you for $5.
mrbrashear
do you know where its located and what tools i need to remove it, i heard its in the transmission?
Legacy Wagon
Actually no. I have no idea on this car. I know on the RS it was directly behind the block on the passenger side of the car. I was sticking out of the transmission and kind of looked like an 02 sensor. If it's the same as the RS it should just unscrew with a 17mm socket. Bad news...it's not But at least you get to take the cluster our and look at it so you're not throwing parts at it. You may find something frayed or unplugged. http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1093
mrbrashear
yep you were right. on passengers side with a 17mm socket removed it and replaced it, nothing. so i bought a new instrumment cluster and boom fixed but cruise control still does not work. Legacy Wagon
Not sure about the cruise. I've never worked on one of those before. I'm just happy mine works haha When it goes out I guess long trips are gonna suck a lot more. Maybe someone else will know though.
