Strizzy Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 I've this particular issue with my car pretty much since I got my new pistons, 1000cc injectors, cams, 73mm kstech intake, larger turbo, etc. installed. When I come off the gas while in gear and push in the clutch, my RPMs drop like normal, but then rises up to about 1500, then drops to normal, then rises to 2k, then drops to normal then rises up to 3k (if I let it). But as soon as I go to neutral, it idles normal. This is VERY annoying in traffic. As soon as I release the clutch any bit to start moving and then pushing the clutch back in, it all starts again. Any ideas what the issue could be? I know for a fact there are no vacuum leaks or anything wrong. I never had this issue while stage 2. I'm hoping for any ideas that I can go over with my tuner to try to resolve this issue. Thanks, Steve My bad luck build Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PartyRock Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 I do recall my friend having a similar issue however the exact opposite-rpm dropping off to stalling when depressing the clutch, the tuner suggested maybe something was quirky with the AVCS tuning.
