bradcs
Does anyone know if the red calipers from the '06 & '07 WRX fit an '08 Legacy GT? Anyone done the swap? Thanks.
joedirtae09
i thought about doing this too but i read on the forums some where that the brakes from our Legacys have more stopping power than the 4 pot ones used in the 06/07 WRX.
fahr_side
If you fit the rotors they will, but the rotors are smaller than the LGT parts. Modulation and feel will be better but heat capacity will be lower. Obligatory 'build thread' Increased capacity to 2.7 liters, still turbo, but no longer need spark plugs. bradcs
Any big brake kits that you know of that'll work with the stock 17s on the LGTs? I'd ditch the 17s but for wanting to put snows on them and use 18s for some performance summers.
LegacyMUN2k6
I did the 4pot swap on my old 06 2.5I legacy and used drilled/slotted r1concept rotors along with hawk pads, stoptech ss lines. On that car it was night and day with the new front braking power over stock.
