Gave the new Meguiar's sealant a shot

So, then it's the Ultimate Liquid Wax?

Have you tried their Pro line sealant #20 or #21?

I use the #21 Synthetic Sealant, and I was very pleased with the results last time I used it. It could also be how it was applied as well.

I used my PC buffer to do a 3 step process of cutting, polishing, then sealing.

After I finished, I was blown away how deep, dark, and shinier the finish was on the car. It also lasts quite a while.

For the price, $21 or so you really can't go wrong. http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net has great prices for Meguiars Mirror Glaze items.

Yup, I've used them both. I've been using #20 for about 15 years and I know it was around before that, so it is pretty old stuff. Meguiar's hasn't done much with that. By the time I stumbled upon #21 I already had quite a few other products to compare it to, so I never even finished the bottle. I've got half of both of them sitting in my garage probably moldy by now. lol They are definitely good products, but I've got quite a few things to compare them to, so they aren't products I use anymore. The Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax definitely replaces both of them in my book. This is a modern formula that uses advances in the polymer sealant industry made in the last six or seven years.

I know this thread is about sealant but since OCD brought up Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax, I'll say that I've had positive results with their Ultimate Paste Wax. It's much "softer" than other waxes and goes on easy with a thin coat. Same synthetic polymer ingredients, and once you get past the funky smell that reminds me of sour milk or some kind of dairy product that's been left out of the refrigerator too long, the end result is awesome.
