lranchev
Thanks. If no one on here can't help me I will contact him. 40 bucks seems pretty reasonable imo!
alaskajoel
Fwiw, I went through a kartboy and Cobb sts, and this mod was by far my favorite. Took me an hour, and you get the stubby look, without extra transmission noise. I did this to my spt short shifter assembly and it's super accurate as well. lranchev
How much did it cost you the mod? Also, I don't have my experience and I might screw something up. I would like to find some one who has done it
alaskajoel
I already had a vice and a hacksaw. I think I paid $15 for the tap and die set, and another couple dollars for some cutting oil. If you haven't taken the stock shifter out before, I struggled with it the first time until I bought some snap-ring pliers. You'll want some extra grease on hand too. I used to do this mod for other folks in Texas, and got to be pretty quick at it.
