Yay~~! I finally did it last night and took some pic to share. It turned out pretty good and love the result. Exactly what I was looking for when I was kinda confused which kit to go for. Very OEM HID looking and much brighter than our halogens. You can see the VERY white light output with slight hint of blue/purple at the cutoff line. These things now colour shift blue/purple/white/yellow like those factory equipped HID cars when bouncing. :D Sorry about the bad pic quality and my shaky hands:p .

Always use a tripod when turning off the flash :D

Thats hot. Our cars should have come factory like that. I remember it being a pipe dream for everyone when they first introduced these cars. I wish I had the cash to do this and work on performance at the same time.

How much did it set you back?

$515 USD shipped. There was a groupbuy set up by gt_ltd on this board. I think it would still be the same now since the Xenon Factory is offering special pricing on their site.

Awesome cutoff beam! How did you get your first picture like that? It's so dim.

I played around a little with my digital camara and happend to find out there's a SCN selection for capturing a very fast action. Maybe it's due to very fast shutter speed with minimum light. Not too sure:p .

the cutoff is ok. the main prob is see is that the bulb is not in the right position. if you notice the yellow is too far above the cutoff line. it should be lower and line up with the rest making a much more crisp cutoff almost identical to a d2s setup.

I think it's our projector that can't produce the crisp cutoffs like the projectors that were desgned to run D2S bulbs not the incorrectly focused bulb. The cutoff is very little different from the stock set-up with halogens. I used to have the yellow spot that much away with halogens.

you could be right. however i last time i had a d2s bulb in our housing at like 15ft from wall it was not as high. only slightly over. also celica and audi h7 projectors make razor sharp cutoff with d2s. perhaps something is unique about our cutoff shield. until i get time to really mess with it cant say for sure.
