Where to Buy Rotella T6 Online?

Recommended Posts

Seriously, there is no where to buy Rotella T6 within about 100 miles of where I live. EXTREMELY freaking annoying. Is there anywhere good online to pick it up?

Or perhaps a store that I have overlooked that would have it? I live in Rosamond/Lancaster/Palmdale California

Plan B, call ahead to every automotive parts store in town, save yourself some gas.

Its not like gas is expensive for anything...

No its seeming like the problem is that the area I live in is VERY redneck and poor, so they don't ever sell anything with any type of quality to it, no matter if you're shopping for shoes or motor oil...

God I hate this town.

You can order up some Motul or Amsoil from us and call it a day. :)

Seriously though the Rotella isn't the only good oil for Subies.

See if you can find rotella on the walmart website and order it site to store.

Mose advance or autozones carry it too, at a higher price than walmart. They can probably get it for you.

Current: 16 Crosstrek Premium w/ Eyesight & 05 Outback XT 5MT

Past Subies: 14 FXT Premium, 14 WRX hatch, 06 Legacy 2.5i SE 5MT, 98 Outback wagon

Consider also tractor supply and possibly grainger. But the best price for it is walmart.

As pointed out, it's not like Rotella is the only oil approved for use in turbo Subaru's. In fact, you can now buy Subaru Synethic oil which was specifically designed and approved for Subaru turbo motors :)

The Subaru Synthetic though is pretty poor. At least in our ad-hoc testing of a few customers cars. They one is a 2010 WRX the other is a 2009 LGT, both of them running Motul 5w30 8100 C3 X-clean go 3500 miles without burning a drop. The Subaru Synthetic they were replacing 1Q every 1,100 miles or so. :(

What other brands could I be looking at? Mainly i want to get something that my car doesn't burn through horribly... currently its going through about a quart every 1000-2000 miles.

Is Amsoil or Motul better for that?

Yup, we've had great luck with both Amsoil and Motul. We have had several WRX owners who were running M1 or Subaru Synthetic switched over to Motul or Amsoil and went from burning 1Q/1,1100 miles to nothing in 3500+. We even had a few switch back to M1 or Subaru Synthetic and bam, right back to 1Q/1,100 miles.

Here is the Blackstone Labs report for my Motul X-Clean C3 5w30 in my 2011 STi after 8,000 miles. http://azpinstalls.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=99&Itemid=181

Motul runs about $35-40/5Liters

Amsoil runs about $40-50/g Liters

You can order directly for the Amsoil from my Sig. For Motul shoot me a PM or e-mail and I'll get you a quote shipped.
