No its seeming like the problem is that the area I live in is VERY redneck and poor, so they don't ever sell anything with any type of quality to it, no matter if you're shopping for shoes or motor oil... Mose advance or autozones carry it too, at a higher price than walmart. They can probably get it for you. As pointed out, it's not like Rotella is the only oil approved for use in turbo Subaru's. They one is a 2010 WRX the other is a 2009 LGT, both of them running Motul 5w30 8100 C3 X-clean go 3500 miles without burning a drop. Mainly i want to get something that my car doesn't burn through horribly... currently its going through about a quart every 1000-2000 miles. Is Amsoil or Motul better for that? We have had several WRX owners who were running M1 or Subaru Synthetic switched over to Motul or Amsoil and went from burning 1Q/1,1100 miles to nothing in 3500+. We even had a few switch back to M1 or Subaru Synthetic and bam, right back to 1Q/1,100 miles.
