GEE-OTTO Posted May 21, 2011 Share Posted May 21, 2011 The EJ251 wasnt designed with performance in mind it was designed with moving people efficiently in mind. And the EJ251 (the engine that you have specifically) can be bumped up in power but not cheaply. You cant run the down draft carbs on this eingine, You can add a turbo kit to this engine with relative ease considering the parts can be had cheaply from the WRX.
