m3ph
I was curious on how to create some LED taillights for our cars. Has anyone had the courage to do this yet? Maybe some of you have time on your hands and a spare set of Taillights to try this. I will do it this summer, i just don't have time right now.' Here is the DIY, what do you guys thing? http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/do-yourself-section/119623-s13-led-tail-light-conversion.html

Drift Motion
I was more referring to when the OP started the thread on the 240 forum... but yeah, the tails turns out real nice, only custom set, he has some video on youtube if you haven't seen
m3ph
I plan to do this when i get some JDM's why wait, do it now. I case you **** up you will be motivated to buy the JDMs and if you down when you do you can just swap the pcb board in the new tails.
Stang70Fastback
Does anyone know if there are any LED bulbs from places like http://www.superbrightleds.com that actually show up correctly in the reflectors? I bought a pair of super tower LEDs from them once but couldn't use them in the turn signals or brake lights because the way the housing and reflectors were shaped, the LEDs (which are directional) were much dimmer than stock bulbs. I ended up using them in the reverse lights because those face straight into the trunk and the reflectors work, so now I literally get comments from people on my bright white reverse lights, lol. I Donated broknindarkagain Posted April 23, 2011 I Donated Share Posted April 23, 2011 Most states have laws against changing your lights outside of OEM specs, however if its reasonable, normal colors, and not blinding bright the cops usually leave you alone. I have my tail lights tinted with LED bulbs in them (not like whats in that guide, just the 3057 or w/e bulb is in the tails LED) and I have never had any issues. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Rallybrothers
I was looking at http://www.v-LEDs.com I think most of their stuff would look more "normal" but everything and everywhere I look seems to be pretty costly. I like the fact you can view range of emitted light and their all rated in lumins. haha i wanna do hid reverse light and put a switch on them to blind people who ride my ass That would be awesome!
