The real "saggy butt" problem?

Recommended Posts

So I've got this problem with my 97, and have looked around on here and found some solutions but not really an answer as to why they do it. My question is, is the problem due to sagging springs, old struts, bad top hats/strut plates or is it a combination of all 3? Or were these cars like this from the factory?

I dont see mending the problem with spacers if its just fixing a strut/spring problem.

what do you currently have on it? stock suspension? WRX suspension? STi suspension?

if you have stock stuff, my guess would be blown struts. the GD (impreza) stuff is just slightly different in length due to chassis differences

  • I Donated

You can find any 02-07 Wrx as a donor for struts, springs, and tophats.

Your problem is likely a combo of saggy springs and blown struts. A used WRX swap will be the most affordable option for you....
