Yeah. I wanted them out about a foot further apart, lined up with the trunk edges. But the shop was concerned that was still too close to the EVAP can and fuel lines, so they lined it up where they are.

Intake is already done for now, and I'm not looking for OMG wake the neighbors loud. Volume and tone are two very different things. I could be loud as flock with an open header, straightpipes, and huge CAI. Loud doesn't mean pleasant to the ears, a correct tone is.

I wanted it deep. (twss )

The camera outside the car is about 8-10 feet away when recording. Any closer and it crackles. It's louder in person than the mic can really reproduce too. Also small PC speakers don't recreate the sound correctly either. The video even sounds different between my Klipsch/Onkyo 7.2 HT system /vs my Skullcandy in-ear headphones.

It's plenty loud enough for me, too loud still for my wife, and doesn't get too raspy in the higher RPM's. However, I still may add the extra resonators to bring it down a bit more. That is if the company I want to buy them from ever has two in stock again at the price I want to pay.

You have EL headers? It sounds like you have UELs.

I also think you're doing it right by setting the camera a good amount of distance away. It irks me when people record their exhausts, they feel they have to put the camera right next to it. In person, no one is going to be putting their ears inches away from the tail pipe

Thx Beige1. Any pics posted of your trunk with the '99 spoiler? I'm curious to see how different it looks.

Rallyleggy...I was looking for a 5mt, and had messaged a few sellers when I bought this one. Most of them had over 100k and had not had the TB changed though. I came across this one and with the overall condition, price. and mileage. I couldn't pass it up even being 4eat. I still only have 86k miles on her.
