Labor Axle

Recommended Posts

It depends on whether you're buying full retail or getting a discount through a parts store. Labor should be no more than 1.5 hours. Assuming you can get the lower ball joint out easily and the axle nut comes free with no fuss, it can be done in about 15 minutes.

This is a front axle, correct? If not it's a whole other ball game. Take the labor and double it, per side, for rear axles (depending on the model).

And no, there is no reason to replace any other axles unless the boots are ripped and slinging grease or making clicking noises.
