A cheap and effective cupholder with photos

Recommended Posts

I wanted to get a decent cupholder that could fit any size cup and not have to do something ghetto like drill holes to mount it. I saw some at Advance automotive that were intended to be hung from the car doors. The cost was a couple bucks for a 4 pack. The hanging part of the tab was about 2" long and was trimmed so that it would fit flush when wedged into the center console. I then wanted a snug fit and some protection for the cars plastic so it would not become marred. I went to an art supply place and found some black felt which had a peel off adhesive backing and applied that to the cupholder. This thing works great. I have had it in place for over 1 year and there is not a scratch on the console.
