Tribecca Intake - 3.6 H6

Recommended Posts

I saw this post on a tribeca forum so I thought I'd share for us 3.6 folks. I dig the enthusiasm but I'm pretty sure the set-up lost power. Anyway it's an interesting intake build. Personally I wouldn't have removed that "torque box". I would be more inclined to replace that accordion tubing for a straighter smoother one between the filter and the torque box (its in the second pic in the post).

I haven't even removed the engine cover to my 3.6R yet. I looked under the hood today and noticed that it would be a plesure to change the air filter in this car compaired to my former Audi A6 2.7T. That thing always needed and scarifice of blood before giving up the dirty airfilter. With the 3.6R it looks like it's two top mounted clips and you're in! I like that a lot!

I don't think I'll be messing with much under the hood for a long, long time unless there is something really cool and it's a proven improvement in HP. And then maybe not even then.
