gohawks
Hello all, i have a 2005 lgt 5mt. car is completely stock and was having no problems at 110 000km. I let my buddy take the car and lo and behold the cabin smelt like crap. At first i thought it was a burnt clutch but the smell remains 5 days later. I then thought it was the coolant but i am seeing no leaking under the car, the engine bay does not radiate this smell it seems to be stuck in the cabin of the car. Any ideas on what might cause this? its hard to explain the smell but its somewhere in between a burnt clutch and coolant smell. Thanks for your consideration. vr4Legacy
not sure what it could be, but try removing your cabin filter. It may be holding the smell in your car. --- check your manual to see if '05 came with a Cabin Filter first.
__raj
Burnt clutch can take days to leave a LGT. Don't let your friends borrow your car....
