seiyafan
First question is about sound deadening. For someone like me who's not skilled at ripping doors/dash apart, is there an easier approach to reducing the interior noise? Such as putting the materials where I don't need to rip anything open Second question is about changing to wood trim, my car came with aluminum trim but I don't like the cheap look of wood trim in 3.6R Limited, do I have other options here? thx. gnod85
^ lol . . . but yea, what DM said is true. Im not skilled either but I just installed the Leptronix Mod today, and it was a lot easier than I thought. Taking trims off was a part of the process.. seiyafan
why did you buy a brand new car with wood trim if you didn't want wood trim? huh? it came with aluminum, I want to switch to wood. Of course that would depends on the quality of the wood, lol (wonder if there is aftermarket wood trim that fits)
Magic Marker
Either go with the Limited "wood" trim or just wrap your existing trim in "carbon fiber" or other vinyl. IMO, the simulated wood breaks up the blacks/ grays in the car nicely. Of course I have the Limited. I'm sure there are plenty of people here that would trade their wood trim for your silver. http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll177/jmark42/IMG_1055.jpg 2011 Volvo S60T6 & 2013 Volvo XC60T6 Polestar

Magic Marker
is the stock wood trim that bad? There was a thread (below) a while ago where a bunch of people were willing to trade out their wood trim for silver or vice versa. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/do-you-want-trade-your-wood-trim-my-silver-trim-126360.html?t=126360&highlight=wood+trim 2011 Volvo S60T6 & 2013 Volvo XC60T6 Polestar

seiyafan
I just don't like the idea of stick-on wood. I think I will trade my aluminum with someone else's wood.

Magic Marker
i didn't think I could request wood trim on a Premium. That's because you can't. The wood trim is exclusive to Limited models. 2011 Volvo S60T6 & 2013 Volvo XC60T6 Polestar

But that's just me. 1) The "Aluminum" you have is plastic. 2) The "wood" of the Limited models is plastic.
