will.mckinney Posted August 7, 2013 Share Posted August 7, 2013 I'm having the same problem with my 08 LGT. Although mine seems to be when the weather is a little warmer. Im going to try this fix and hope it works. The thing that worries me is the dealership told me that if the red airbag light in the gauge cluster is lit the airbag system is essentially off due to a fault in the system and the airbags wont deploy. They also said that they had a Suby in there a few weeks ago and it was the indicating lights so I am pretty sure that is the problem with mine. Entrepit Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 No, it didn't work (( I dissembled the panel and resoldered everything on it. But it didn't help my airbag light. DonnyJagaru Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 FWIW, I had an intermittent AIRBAG light on my dash until I replaced my car's battery. The overhead airbag lights were falsing badly when the battery was on its last legs. The AIRBAG light has remained off ever since and all is good. Its been five months now.
