Blizzard
Bremmerkraft. I like the way they look but couldn't get over how heavy they are.

ilubtimmyhos
Yea i had done it on my 2005 LGT and had to do it on this. I did away with every bit of chrome except what was necessary inside the headlights and the stars in the emblems. im even thinking of getting rid of the chrome in the stars and doing a black-on-blue emblem. Idk yet though.

ilubtimmyhos
Just did my interior light kit. Opted for the $17 Autozone set over the Subaru $175 set. Looks just as good I would say.

Are the under dash lights on all the time or can you shut them off. They look bright which would bug the shit out of me at night:eek:
ilubtimmyhos
It is not on a switch but installing a rheostat would be too easy and allow you to both adjust the brightness and/or turn them off at will. Im actually planning on doing that myself. I did tuck the footwell lights back far enough that they dont bother me however.

wacky_woodchuck
I think I might be a bit crazy here. I purchased soem steelies for my winter set-up and they are on back order across the USA. So I'm looking to just pony up and get a set of DRAG DR-33's for the car instead. But... while Gunmetal seems to be a good solid choice, I'm digging the bronze color as well. The gold is too much. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/product/wheels/drad33.br.ang.jpg Am I off my rocker? It's a 2012 LGT, stock ride height and all the trim is still chrome look. Man out of all the Drag wheels available that is not the style I would choose lol. BTW discounttiredirect is doing a $100 rebate on any 4 tires or 4 wheels only through their ebay store. wacky_woodchuck
Yeah, I looked at the other ones and I wasn't a fan. The DR-35's...meh... (no offense. ) The 34's were okay, but not for a winter set-up. The rest didn't spark my interest. Anyways, I called to check up on the order and while on the phone, they ended up splitting the difference to upgrade from a $72/ea steel rim to a $115/ea wheel for $86. I was prepared to shell out the extra $172+tax, but they helped me out. They wanted me to take the MB Wheel 5 X. Those things are hideous. I just went for it, said screw it and got the bronze. I'll run them this winter and if I hate them, I just get them powder coated over the summer. I will say discounttiredirect.com is WAY easier to work with than Tire Rack. I've purchased a ton of stuff from Tire Rack and after this encounter with DTD.com, they'll be getting my business when I buy some summer rims. BTW - I got out of WNY about 8 years ago. I lived down in the Southern Tier (in the sticks between Jamestown/Salamanca off I86). Even with soem lake effect here in Cleveland...it's nothing compared to what I grew up with. Just as I have suspected, does anyone know where and even what to call the "Subaru logo thing" on the engine cover so I can search? Thanks

thejbon
Hey guys...what do you think of my 2010 legacy 2.5i mt right now it has the black on the emblem and the front lip on it and literally everyday i come really close to taking it off but then im like nahhh the lip is a EZ Lip and the emblem thing is just some carbon fiber wrap i put on the emblem and cut it off with an exacto. I may go back to the clean front again but i kinda like it. What i was planning to do when i put the emblem thing on was black out the grill with plasti dip...now after looking through these pics looks like i need some blue hellas too my only mod is a rear swaybar and a hardwired passport 8500 x50 blue display with mute button(not where it was in the picture any longer) and aftermarket speakers and bass also you can see i swapped the lights inside the car to blue LEDs along with the courtesy lights. I also installed some extra bright white leds in the vanity lights (drop down mirror things) so i can actually see something if i have to lol. im on 16 in rims and cant bring myself to ditch em cuz theyre pretty nice and id feel wasteful, but they look kinda small. I also have some blue HID bulbs (havent installed cuz i dont wanna get tickets/be an arse) and some shift bushings (havent installed cuz i dont have a jack and i gotta bring it in somewhere to have it done so i look forward to that. so tell me. Black grille, keep it the way it is, or go back to stock. hmmmmmm. so many decisions http://imgur.com/mDHZN,B7Cmq,mT2up,KlUOR,GdfJ7,7fIN9#0 Edited January 3, 2013 by thejbon
